ENG: The material of immateriality is components of sculptures and textile weaves, a hand made of silicone, ceramic swan and tree branches portraying a nest.

The sculptures in their organic shapes represent the egg as a materialization of our metaphysical state of becoming. A work that is addressing were we are coming from but also our subconscious importance of our metaphysical existence. The egg that is the female gamete is also where fetal development occurs. The nest of tree branches provides a space were the eggs are shaped, germinate and becomes individuals.

Eggs are used in this installation metaphorical to describe the human condition. We are not just materia, a mass or volume but also posses an immaterial mind where our consciousness and unconscious have a significant roll for our existence.

The swan, a symbol for the unconscious, steers the hand to transform immaterial ideas and dreams into physical objects. In that way the body is used as a machine or tool that are controlled by inner impulses and unconscious ideas.

SE: The material of immateriality är ett samlingsverk bestående av skulpturer och vävar av textila material, en hand av silikon, en keramiksvan och trägrenar som gestaltar ett bo.

Skulpturerna i dess organiska former representerar ägget som en materialisering av vår metafysiska tillkomst. Ett arbete som kretsar kring var vi kommer ifrån men också om vårt undermedvetnas betydelse för vår metafysiska existens. Ägget som är den kvinnliga könscellen är också platsen där fosterutvecklingen sker. I boet av trägrenar finns en plats där äggskulpturerna formas och gror och blir till individer.

Ägg används i detta samlingsverk metaforiskt för att beskriva det mänskliga tillståndet. Vi är inte enbart materia, en massa eller volym utan också ett immateriellt sinne där både vårt medvetande och undermedvetna har en betydande roll för vår existens.

Svanen, en symbol för det undermedvetna styr handen för att transformera immateriella idéer och drömmar till fysiska objekt. På så sätt används kroppen som en maskin eller ett verktyg som styrs av inre impulser och undermedvetna idéer.
